Our Tours
Thorsmork and Eyjafjallajokull Glacier Volcano
Thorsmork, named after Thor, god of Thunder is a Spectacular nature reserve between three Glaciers and Iceland most
famous Volcano Katla and Eyjafjallajokull glacier volcano. We had Volcano eruption in Eyjafjallajokull Glacier in this area
in March, 2010 as you probably already know. In this tour we visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall and then heaad in between
the glaciers, into the ancient glacier valley which leads us to Thorsmork and Godaland (e. land of the gods).
We also visit and get a close look at Gigjokull outlet glacier where the floods came down from the erupting crater just
above and you can see where the steaming hot water from the crater melted a tunnel into the glacier, on itʼs way down
the canyon. This scenery is simply breathtakingly beautiful in itʼs roughness with dark grey volcano ash all around.
